Hotel accommodations
As Nepal is a popular destination for many international tourists, it is suggested that reservations for accommodation be made in advance. There are different ranges of hotels available in Kathmandu: From USD 50 to USD 200 per night/ person (single star to five-star hotels). Please contact the Conference Secretariat for hotel reservations.
Visa

A Foreigner who intends to visit Nepal must hold a valid passport or any travel document equivalent to a passport issued by the Govt. for visiting a foreign country prior to apply for a visa. A) Entry: No foreigner is entitled to enter and stay in Nepal without a valid visa. Tourist entry visa can be obtained for the following duration from Nepalese Embassy or Consulate or other mission offices or immigration offices located on entry points in Nepal.

Visa Fee:

A single-entry visa valid for 15/30/90 days costs US$25/40/100. At Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan Airport the fee is payable in any major currency, but at land borders officials require payment in cash US dollars; bring small bills.

SAARC countries can get a 30-day visa for free on arrival. Indian passport holders do not need a visa to enter Nepal. No Visa Fee is charged from Chinese Nationals for Tourist visa. Conference Registration Fee
Registration Fees: US$ 100 for SAARC countries and for other developing countries from the greater South Asia Region (e.g. Central and Southwest Asia to Myanmar), US$ 200 for developed countries and from the Asia-Pacific Region. Delegates from Nepal are three categories; Institutional NRs. 12,000, Individual NRs. 7,000 and student NRs. 5,000. Registration includes Conference Proceedings, Refreshments, Lunches, Conference Bag, and Reception Dinner.
